Inpatient Infusion Center Initiative
The Inpatient Infusion Center Initiative complements the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute (DDCI). It is vital to patients who must be hospitalized during treatments, require urgent treatment, or need further monitoring. The current infusion center lacks sufficient space and privacy to meet the needs for over 1,700 patients who receive care each year.

Expected to be completed in the fiscal year 2020-2021, the $870,000 initiative will reallocate existing space on the fourth floor of the main hospital to include six private infusion bays, a central nursing station, a nutrition center/kitchenette, a small meeting space, and two hospice rooms.

The rendering depicts the completed Inpatient Infusion Center Initiative, expected to be completed in the fiscal year 2020-2021.
